For the longest time now we have been hearing rumours of Shahid Kapoor’s younger brother Ishan Khattar’s Bollywood debut. But no official confirmations were being made. But now, Mid-Day has confirmed that Ishaan will be making his Bollywood debut with the Hindi remake of Sairat. Yup, that’s right! Nagaraj Manjule’s Sairat, which has turned out to be one of the biggest blockbuster hits so far, is all set to be remade in Hindi by filmmaker Karan Johar and who better than him can launch starkids.
In the recent past we have seen actors like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra who have been launched by KJo and their careers began on a great note. they have turned out to be among the A-listers in Bollywood and rightly so! With Ishaan being launched by Karan, it goes with saying that he will get a BIG break in Bollywood.”The script is being modified to suit the Hindi audience. Karan is yet narrow down on a director,” reveals the leading daily. And guess what? His leading lady is going to be none other than Jhanvi Kapoor! The Kapoor girl, who has been making waves with every appearance be it at the airport or at some lavish party, will be seen opposite Ishaan in the film. How wonderful would Ishaan and Jhanvi look together! We just can’t wait to see them onscreen.
Just a couple of weeks ago we had exclusively revealed to you that Boney Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to help his daughter prep up for her big break in Bollywood. He has been getting SECRETLY groomed for her debut which is very likely to happen next year in 2017. Her father, Boney Kapoor has already hired people to handle her work. She has already started working on her diction and has been taking classes for the same. Interesting, isn’t it? However, Ishaan seems to be tight-lipped about his first ever Bollywood venture and neither has Shahid hinted on Ishaan being cast in a Karan Johar film. However, his mother spilled the beans on his Bollywood debut stating “It would be wrong to talk about his debut. The makers have their plans of making an announcement. Ishaan has his entire career in front of him.” Well, isn’t this a clear indication that he is going to be a part of the film. Let’s hope the official announcement is done soon!
